Celery

As much a household staple as onions or potatoes, Celery is valued for its crisp texture and distinctive flavor. A head of celery is made up of individual stalks called “ribs” that are known for having high water content. It’s widely used in appetizer veggie trays, as a crunchy salad ingredient, and a flavorful addition to many soups and cooked dishes. Celery provides an excellent source of Vitamin C and fiber and is also a very good source of folic acid, potassium, calcium and Vitamins B1, B2 and B6.
